RTC Enterprise Extensions...

GURVINDER SOKHI (731941) | asked Feb 17 '16, 7:50 a.m.
How do we enable RTC Enterprise Extensions for specific purposes ? Is it additional add-on functionality at additional cost not covered by IBM licencing ?

For example we are interested in build publisher and stream promotion extension..not sure how we enable enterprise extensions ? Is there is catalogue of all available enterprise extensions that a client can pick and use?

You can develop any custom extension without extra costs, but customizations aren't supported by IBM.

Check this link, you can find some native extensions available:

I believe Gurvinder is referring to the Enterprise Extensions built in to RTC, not to custom extensions that they implement themselves.

For a given user to use the RTC Enterprise Extensions, that user must have an RTC Enterprise Extension license.
For any given release, you can see the functionality provided by a given license on the download page for that release.
For  example, for the RTC 6.0.1 release page ( https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/6.0.1 ), it says that you need a "Developer for IBM Enterprise Platforms" license to use the dependency build and build promotion features.
