Importing via ReqIF leads to attribute duplicates?
Hello all,
I am having a problem while attempting to import via ReqIF. When importing into RM, the process creates several duplicate artifact attributes.
For instance:
Artifact Attributes
ReqIF ForeignCreatedThru 3 String 3
ReqIF ForeignCreatedThru 4 String 3
ReqIF ForeignCreatedThru 8 String 4
As you can see above, this problem plagues several different attributes, whether they are system attributes/types or custom attributes/types. I have checked all corresponding URIs and cannot determine what would cause this?
Any help would be much appreciated.

This is the known issue/limitation/caveat already documented.
Important: The first time that you import, types and artifacts are created. If you import the same data later, all of the data except for the view column information is updated. During an import, only system-defined attributes and types are merged. Artifact types, attributes, data types, and folders that were not already imported from a ReqIF file are created in the project that you are importing to. For example, the file that you are importing and the project that you are importing to might both contain a Priority attribute.
