Using RTC/JBE, how can I choose which components are built by Maven?

We are using Maven to handle our builds. The number of projects/modules (forgive me, I'm still learning Maven terminology) has increased significantly recently which has caused our build time to jump from ~10 to ~30 minutes. The developers have asked if there is a way for them to choose at build time which components are built. Does anyone have experience implementing this using RTC/JBE? Thanks.

Hi Matt,

The components are usually scoped in the build definition. There is a Jazz Source Control tab where you can pick "Components to exclude." If certain classes of developers only want to build subsets of the components then you can organize them into different build definitions.

I hope that this helps,
Chris
