How to hide a workitem from particular role?

I want to hide a workitem from certain role, but other role should be able to see it.

I have been browsing through all options under permissions but dont see it. Is there a way?

Read access is never controlled by role (only write access is controlled by role).
Read access to a work item is controlled by an access control list (if it has one), or by its owning team or project area.
