JAZZ SHA-2

Keith Murray (1511217) | asked Aug 14 '15, 11:13 a.m.
I'm not too good about the security scene on this. Does anyone know if JAZZ 5.0.2 comes out of the box with SHA-2 support. We are on windows with websphere 8.5. If not, what would be needed? Anything to help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the use case you you have in mind for "SHA-2 support"?

You can configure the encryption in WebSphere in the following way:

In WebSphere administrative console navigate to Security > SSL certificate and key management > SSL configurations

For each resource in the list customize the „Quality of protection (QoP) settings“. You can set the protocol and ciphers which should be used.

If I'm not mistaken, you're looking for instructions to configure CLM to support NIST SP 800-131.
