RTC- Is there an API interface to change(add/modify/del) enumeration values for an attribute ?

I am looking for a way to programmatically change the enumeration values for a given attribute frequently. I have looked at HTTP external value set, yet that may not fit . Since I need to make changes daily/weekly I am looking for a way to manage these values changing regularly.
