Work Item preview appears after clicking on link in links list without hovering

Tim Fuller (471428) | asked Jun 11 '15, 4:05 p.m.
When using IE 11 and RTC 5.0, clicking a link in the work item link list tab, the hover preview shows at the top left corner of the window along with the same work item underneath.  The hover preview will then sometimes go away on its own, or you have mouse away from the preview, or you have to click the X in the top right corner to get the preview to go away.  It's very annoying because you have to close the preview to see the work item (with the same information as the preview) underneath.  I might expect this behavior if I had lingered on the link before clicking it but did not.  When hovering over other links like in the quick information section it does not throw up the preview after clicking. Previews also usually appear next to the link you're hovering over.  This one appears in the top left of the window every time.  It does not do this in Firefox 31.7 (ESR) or Chrome 43.

Any workarounds? Ideas?

Correction, 5th sentence should read:
When using other links like in the quick information section it does not throw up the preview after clicking.
