Adacore/GNAT and RTC intergation

Norman Dignard (356695177) | asked Apr 24 '15, 9:04 a.m.

one of our groups are migrating to Linux and are using the Adacore and they would like to use IBM's Rational Team Concert for task management and version control.

I'm wondering if anyone has setup the integration between Adacore workbench and RTC?

I don't know Adacore so I'm a little in dark in this aspect and I did not find anything on the Adacore site other that we can customize it to user other version control tools with xml and python.

Hi Norman,

Adacore provide a plugin to Eclipse:
http://www.adacore.com/gnatpro/toolsuite/gnatbench/

You can integrate RTC 5.0.2 into Eclipse 3.6 IDE using the P2 installer.

Link to the documentation for the procedure.
https://jazz.net/help-dev/rational-insight/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.jazz.install.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_client_installation_p2.html

Link to P2 Installer:
https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/5.0.2?p=allDownloads

With this you should be able to create an Eclipse environment with Adacore GNAT and RTC installed together.
Enjoy,
Simon
