Change Tomcat port issue in RQM? Please help
Hi, I am trying to change the tomcat port so I can start Rational insight and RQM in one machine.
So I changed: in the file .../server/tomcat/conf/server.xml, 9080 changed to 9081 and replaced all "9443" with 9444. After restart the RQM server, I can access the RQM web. Befor you change the server.xml, you need to do some change in the JazzServerAdministration page as well.
Follow these steps 1. Log in as a user with JazzAdmins repository permissions at https://<rqmserver>:<port>/jazz/admin. 2. Click Advanced Properties. 3. In the browser, click Edit > Find or press Ctrl+F. 4. Type 9080 and click OK. 5. In com.ibm.team.repository.service.internal.webuiInitializer.ConfigPropertyInitializer, click Edit. 6. Change the HTTP port from 9080 to 9081. 7. Change the HTTPS port from 9443 to 9444. 8. Scroll to the top of the page and click Save. 9. Log out of Rational Quality Manager and shut down the server. Then you can go ahead and change the server.xml file as given below To change the port numbers in the Tomcat server.xml file: 1. Navigate to the tomcat\conf directory where Rational Quality Manager is installed (usually C:\Program Files\IBM\RQM20\server\tomcat\conf). 2. Open server.xml for editing. 3. Change Server port="9005" to "9006" (Server port="9006" shutdown="SHUTDOWN"). 4. Find and replace all instances of 9080 with 9081. 5. Find and replace all instances of 9443 with 9444. 6. Find and replace 9009 with 9010. 7. Save and close the server.xml file. |
