How to create participant / advisor properties

Is it possible to create properties for an advisor/participant just like predefined preconditions & follow-up action 'Require Work Items and Comments' to modifty in the webclient?

As far as I can tell, this is currently only possible in the Eclipse client as shown in the Extensions workshop.
