BIRT Report - Multiple Data Source

Rainy John (381226) | asked Jan 23 '15, 6:11 a.m.
How to take input data from different sources and show output in BIRT Report? BIRT Report shall take some inputs from RTC Database that is available in the work items of a Team Area and some inputs from an Excel which is stored in RTC under a Team Area.

The report shall combine data from these 2 sources (RTC Database as well as from Excel) and shall plot the output.

Hi Rainy,

you can always create different different data source from different database.

From different different data source one can create multiple data sets.

Many Thanks

I also wanted to add that in BIRT you can have Excell datasource but it can be only a file located on filesystem, not any url or attachment in work item.
