trigger extension/operation participant on linking/unlinking RTC work ticket with another work ticket

Hi All,

 I have seen Extensions are triggered on Save action on RTC work ticket. we are using links beween work tickets.

 But Whenever unlinking/linking done from Query/Quick information or any other ways extensions wont be triggered. So What Extension point is used for it.  How to trigger the link changes so that to customize few of error messages.

Could you give another description, I don't quite understand.  to add or remove a link to/from a workitem, the workitem must be saved, which would trigger the Save extension point.
