Automatic assignment of changes to a change set (i.e. WI)
Hi,
In Rational Team Concert and in Rational Software Architect (with integrated RTC) you have the possibility to start working on a work item by drag and drop the work item to the bottom of the right site (current work in status bar) or just start it by changing its status.
Is there an opportunity to associate (automatically) all changes on the code to the work item that is in progress, so that you dont have to move all unresolved changes to a change set that is associated to a work item?
Thanks in advance
Thomas

Yes, that is what it is supposed to do, but it doesn't always do that
.... this problem is being tracked in defect 55850. Please add comments
in that work item describing scenarios in which you encounter this bug.

I just reread the comments on defect 55850 ... apparently some folks
think it is a "feature" that it sometimes associates and sometimes does
not. Please feel free to register your opinion on that point as a
comment on defect 55850 (I did so ... if it isn't obvious how I voted
from my posting, my comment makes it clear :-).
