Installing plugins in RTC

I have RTC 4.0.3 on a Windows 7 system. I would like to install some familiar plugins such as PMD, Checkstyle and Findbugs, however, I have had no success. For example, Findbugs seems to have successfully installed but I cannot locate it anywhere inside RTC. Any ideas?

after I install Findbugs in Eclipse, it appears in the Perspective and views.

you may need to do an eclipse -clean restart, or there is some eclipse module version  issue..
I would look in the eclipse filesystem log file found in {eclipse workspace name}/.metadata/.log
