Missing Report Templates Rational Quality Manager 3.0

Bob Ferguson (891544) | asked Oct 28 '14, 12:03 p.m.

I have RQM 3.0 and I created a project.  When I went under Reports -> Create Report from Template.  There were no templates.  I looked at other projects that were migrated from test manager and they had a full compliment of report templates.  The current project does not contain any data (i.e. test plans, cases, scripts....etc).

Does anyone have any insight why the report templates do not exist for the newly created project.

If the repository was upgraded from old version, there could be some steps related to report templates migration. If it is pure 3.0.x RQM, by default it should have some report templates deployed. You may use RTC client to manually deploy report templates and see if that works for you:

I went to the supplied link.  How do I select this RQM project with the RTC client?

Hi, Bob

In RTC client, you need to create a new repository connection for RQM(similar to RTC server) such as https://server:port/qm and then right click on the connection for the managed project areas and select the target RQM project area.

Thanks
