We 've just setup RTC cleint on a SLES 11 box .  There are only 2 users using this host.  For one user when they try and access the help files RTC coredumps and crashes. for the other user it works fine.

We can;t seem to understand why it works for one user but to the other.

On crashing the user gets the above. On the cmd line

cm_sit@sitspt01:~/jazz> GConf Error: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details -  1: Failed to get connection to session: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/dbus-DbzLUnkjSn: Connection refused)

*** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to enable).

cm_sit@sitspt01:~/jazz> Unable to lock registry

Found the problem.  In RTC preferences for the help files - deleted several Internal referenced that called RTC null.

No more crashes
