Email notifications to user making change

Carson Holmes (11113544) | asked Oct 14 '14, 7:00 p.m.
At a customer site a number of users here are getting email notifications when they create a work item.

In all my prior experience, RTC seemed smart enough to know that if you were creating or modifying a work item, you didn't need to get a notification.  Is this a setting some where that I'm missing?  Is it a 4.0.6 thing?

Thanks.

Thanks Eric!   That's it.  I'm a new coach here and they just upgraded to 4.0.6 before we started with our new project.

Eric,

Correct, those are the settings for when someone else makes a change and you want to be notified.  But RTC from my experience does not send an email notice to me about the change I just made.  Yet in this installation it does.  I'm baffled my the variance in behavior, and if there is some setting that I'm missing.

 Hello Carson,

I guess in this case I would compare your email settings on both servers.

I have also never seen RTC send mail to the person making the modification

Eric,

The email settings on the individual profiles are identical across the two environments.

Thanks,
Carson
