The current stable release is 37.0.2062.124, and the CLMSystemRequirements50 page says the two previous releases before that woudl be supported.  As it states in the sysreqs, "Testing for each quarterly release is run on the latest released version of Chrome"

So when 5.0.1 was released, we would have tested during the v5.0.1 testing cycle whatever the latest Chrome was.

Maybe listing in the system requirement what was the last Chrome release on which each CLM release was tested would improve the clarity of the information.
