Web client: Workitem -> links tab -> add related test case. Issue with default query

In the web browser client:  When trying to add related test case to a workitem on the links tab, one of our user's default query got messed up somehow.  If you click the down arrow on the Select Test Case window, it shows the query to be run.  This user's query shows garbage in the Name field:

Link query

If we clear the Name field to blank (which is the default), and click the Disc icon to save the query, the query doesn't save.  The next time the user goes to links, add related test case, the query still fails because of the garbage in the Name field.

Is there a way to reset this query to the default for this user?  Tried the usual...clear browser cache, etc.  This will happen using other browsers too, so is the query tied to his user somehow as a preference for this query?  Any idea why it can't be reset/changed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi Steve,

If I do understand it right, it is happening only with a single user and trying different browsers also.
Can you try to use Firebug to collect more information ?
Also, which version you are using ?
Seems that Developers did an improvement on this default query for version 5:
