Mandatory to use UTF-8 for Oracle DB?

Hi,

I have a customer who's standard enterprise DB is Oracle. Thus, we're planning to setup the RTC repo on Oracle. The problem is that they typically choose the Western European character set. I know we recommend UTF-8, but I'd like to know if it's possible to use Western European. If not, what are some of the problems that could be encountered.

Thanks very much!

As I know, RTC can't use 'Western European', if you use this, you may can't create RTC tables successfully, so UTF-8 is necessary. :)
