How to end an Active Service in in JTS?

Sumant Renukarya (1.1k23339) | asked Jun 11 '14, 2:59 p.m.
We have identified one of the services listed in 'Active Services' in JTS taking too long time and there is a need to end this particular service.

Is there a way to end a service from among the list of Active Services here? Or is the only way to end a service is by shutting down the JTS?

I did not find additional information here though.

In all the JTS I'm familiar with ( up to 4.0.5 ) running tasks must run to completion or cycle the JTS.
