JazzTalk Example Problem - can't find Generate Component

Hello,

I am walking through the JazzTalk tutorial and it seems that I can't find the Jazz Tools > Generate Component in the context menu of the package explorer. Any idea why I wouldn't be seeing this? I am using 0.6M2 for client and server, and I followed all of the setup at https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ComponentDevelopmentSetup .

Thanks,
Jamie

This does sort of look like a setup problem. It could be a typo in
setting up the "links" files. I've also noticed in the past that
superfluous links files can cause problems (i.e. two links files that
point at two different EMF installs). I've also noticed when using Vim
to edit links files that the backup files Vim leaves with ~ suffixes
like emf.link~ seem to confuse the links mechanism, so I always delete
those.

You might also start eclipse with -clean to clean up any lingering bad
configuration cruft. Also maybe the Error Log view has some indication
of a failure to load the codegen plugins (look for the plugin id
com.ibm.team.codegen).

One more thing: M3 has just been released and therefore I'll be going
over the component development tutorials this week to correct anything
that needs to change for M3. This will also involve posting an updated
codegen for use with M3 (I expect to have this by Tuesday). There is
also another tutorial on storage model development that goes beyond
JazzTalk. I think this will be ready by the end of the week. So you
may want to make the shift to M3 this week and try again with the latest
bits.
