Migration from TM to RQM - iterations

Karen Steele (1.2k4139148) | asked Apr 13 '09, 12:42 p.m.
I allowed RQM to import all assets from TM including any old iterations that were defined.

where did it store that data ? I'm not getting an error on one of my reports that is indicating that (Tester report using TER Count) - which shows : Parameter loading failed: : PlanIterationTestcase is not a parameter group

the test plan and test case options on the edit box say but cannot display the values presumably due to this error (version is 1.0.1)

An Iteration can not be created separately in RQM as it was in TestManager.
Therefore to be able to migrate a Iteration, associate it to a test plan.
All iterations which are associated with at least one test plan, are migrated whereas other can not be.

Yes, Iterations from TestManager are migrated as milestones for a testplan.
I think same apply for CQTM migration

You didn't really answer my query .. where exactly can I find them in RQM ? I only migrated two plans, and neither have a milestone that as you indicate was an iteration in TM ... so if they're not on the plan - where are they stored so I can associate or delete ?

1. Open "Test Schedules" section under Test Plan editor
2. Check "Test Schedules Table" table
It should list all the iteration, associated with Test plan in TestManager.

Does it answer your question?

1. Make sure there is at least one iteration associated to test plan in TestManager
2. Also make sure the iterations are migrated successfully from test manager. Check migration log file.
