which objects depend on iteration

What happens when I archive an iteration ? will the plans be archived as well ? How is the relationship between iterations and other objects ? I do not want to experiment too much, I would rather be informed of the risk I am taking when archiving older iterations. We are working on 4.0.5

there is no cascading of archive.

workitems -> Planned For = iteration (it will appear greyed out or strikethru)

plans will still work (the data is still there.. once u try to change it you will be forced to pick another iteration).

I don't think there is anything else impacted. (course that is like almost all the data!)
