we are going to use the bugzilla importer to import tickets from Jira.
we can get different workitem types by adding a type element to the bugzilla bug xml.
and we can map workitem states too..

but.. our states are not symmetrical across all workitem types, so we want to map differently depending on type.

I don't see a way to do this.  did I miss something?

otherwise we have 3 import files and mappings.. defects, storys, everything else.

maybe the easiest way is to make a different status element for each workitem type

(as we are generating the final xml for import)

bug_status_story, bug_status_defect and bug_status
then build the mapping file to address each. only the elements found will be mapped.
