 Our test case execution record TCER 402 is assigned 
  • to test case TC 1449 
  • but to Unassigned as the associated test plan (don't ask me why it got here: Don't know; could a TCER be assigned to a TC before the TC get assigned to a TP ?)
How do we edit the associated test plan to TP 11, which is associated to TC 1449 ?

  • Try to edit the record from the browsed listing of TCER, TP is not an editable item.
  • Try to edit the TCER 402 directly, TP Unassigned got a Select TP wizard option icon and Clear option icon, but both are grayed out.

 You cannot update Test Plan in existing TCER. Your only option is to create a new TCER for that Test Case and select Test Plan at the time of creation.
