Storing aribtrary data in jazz repository

Is there a way to extend the repository to allow for the storage of arbitrary data? A blob would be preferable. I checked out https://jazz.net/learn/LearnItem.jsp?href=content/docs/hello-jazz/index.html , but that seems outdated for 2.0. Thanks in advance.

In the Jazz Foundation 1.0 time frame, you should be able to store
arbitrary data in the repository through the storage REST API:
