IBM Installation Manager: cannot install binary file

Hiii,

I was trying to install ibm installation manager but after unzip the file, while using ./install command i got an error like "cannot install binary file", so please suggest me solution...

What platform is this on? And can you tell us what version of IBM Installation Manager you're trying to install?

This error indicates that the java binary is not of the correct format for the platform. The two most likely reasons are that:

The wrong package has been downloaded, for example Linux on zSeries (z64) instead of Linux on x86 (X64)
The installer is being run on a 32-bit platform.
