Can a JazzGuests userid have a Developer license?

Can a JazzGuest permissions userid get a Developer license?  For example, they want Read-only access but ALSO read-access to source code.  My understanding is that they will need a Developer License even to view source.  If I give a Developer license to someone with JazzGuests permissions, will that work?

Susan,
Technically, license of any type can be assigned to user; even one without Jazz roles. It may be that this will allow read access to source, but that could also be influenced by project membership, roles and so on.  I'll leave to others to elaborate.

Yes, it would work. A developer license would give JazzGuests read-access to source code. They would just need to right click Stream and "Show Repository Files"
