Are you referring to the ability to import RPE teamplate (.dta), I think the process will be same in 4.0.2 as in 4.0. See infoCenter links below:

I think you should also be aware of the following:
RPE version 1.2 onwards started supporting “version 2” templates which are not compatible with RPE/RRDG versions 1.1.2.2 and older. The latest version of RPE is 1.2.0.1.
In case if you are creating a “version 2” template in RPE version 1.2/1.2.0.1 then this template cannot be uploaded to CLM 4.0.2 in order to run it with RRDG as the version of RRDG in CLM is not the latest. Instead you can create a “version 1” template (RPE/RRDG 1.1.2.2 and older) and use it in CLM 4.0.2.
If the reports are run from RPE Launcher, then there is no version limitation as you can use a “version 2” template in RPE 1.2.0.1 and generate the document from CLM 4.0.2
