What is the difference between "accumulated time" and "scheduled time"?

In plan view column, there are "accumulated time" and "scheduled time", what these attribute means?

scheduled time is how much time you PLANNED (in advance) to spend
accumulated time is how much you have ACTUALLY spent so far (current to date)
