Free 10 Developer Licenses not available for allocation

Sally-Anne Prout (11022316) | asked May 01 '13, 11:20 a.m.
I have just imported the 10 Free developer licenses and find that they do not show in the users profile for allocation.

Other licenses that I have imported do show but the free 10 licenses are not available for allocation.

Within the JTS License Manager they are showing as imported and active.

CLM 4.0.1
RTC only
Linux Red Hat
Tomcat

Thanks
Sally

Hi

When you imported the key, did you set the number of licenses to be made available?  Not sure if this is needed on the free licenses but this is needed on other license types.

Sorry - should have checked this on my system first.  There is no need to set the number of licenses.

I can import the key into 4.0.2 but I also don't see the free licenses as an option when I look at a user.

I suspect this is because you already have licenses on the system.  AFAIK, You can't use the 10- free to extend the number of licenses you already have.  You may need to remove the non-free licenses, then you should be able to see the 10 free.
