How delete project area(data) from local RTC tomcat server

 Hi All,

I have set up local RTC tomcat server 3.0.1 and upgraded to 4.0.0.1 . Now I have so many project areas in localhost. I want to delet those project areas. my eclipse  and computer becoming slow.

I know I can archive project area , I guess  that wont be deleted from local data base.

Please can any one suggest me how to delete project areas completely from my system.

Can it be done by each project area wise. So that  I can delete selected once.

 Thanks,

Kavita

Hello Kavita,

you are right, archiving a project area won't delete its contents from the repository. Deleting project areas is not possible currently. You can find more information in the following work items:

https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Foundation#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=231098
https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Foundation#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=213311

Thanks,

Jorge

I gone through these links.  These are resolved.   could I be able to get information in which version its fixed. I am using 4.0.0.1 client and server.

It would be good if I find information about version in workticket itself.

 Thanks, Kavita

Note that are resolved with resolution as "Won't Fix", which means that are not implemented.
You may want to stay tunned to this work item: https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Foundation#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=170097
and linked ones for potential future implementation of this and related capabilities.

Thanks,

Jorge.
