new wiki content for component developers
This week I added two topics to the wiki that may be of interest to Jazz
component developers:
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/JazzServerRunAndDebug
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/HiJazzTutorial
The first collects information about setting up to run the Jazz server
in "development mode".
The second one is a component authoring tutorial that's even simpler
than "HelloJazz". You might ask, why have a simpler tutorial when
HelloJazz is already there? This one will help newcomers by providing a
gentler learning curve. But it may also be interesting to people who
have already done HelloJazz because it talks a bit about REST services
and about services calling other services (topics not explored in
HelloJazz).

It looks like the attachments are not working on the
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/JazzServerRunAndDebug page. I tried
to download Beta1JazzServer.launch and got "Attachment
'Beta1JazzServer.launch' does not exist".
That's odd - it works for me. It's just an XML file and when I click
the link I see the file in my browser (firefox). The
Beta1JazzServer.launch link appears twice (under "Available Launches"
and again under Attachments). The URLs are slightly different. Do you
see the same results with both URLs? I may have to contact the wiki
admin to ask about this.

Chris,
Sorry for the delay. When I try the link under " Available Launches:" I
get:
And when I try the link for the attachments, I get:
I've tried this from two different computers using both Firefox and IE.
I'm stumped.
Thanks,

FYI: I contacted one of the jazz.net webmasters about this today. He
found and fixed a problem with the way wiki attachments were being
stored (thank you, Matt J!). So everyone should be able to get these
attachments now. Let us know if you see otherwise....
