LTPA token problems when performance testing Jazz products
Hi guys - just to share some info:
If you run Rational Performance tester against Jazz based products like JTS, RTC, RRC or RQM you may experience the following error:
LTPAServerObj W SECJ0371W: Validation of the LTPA token failed because the token expired with the following info: Token expiration Date: Sun Mar 18 22:54:00 CET 2012, current Date: Sun Mar 18 23:35:10 CET 2012.
This is because the performance tester does not renew the token you get between your servers when you log in using a browser and get a token from say ccm to jts.
you can fix this in the WAS admin console by accessing Global Security and click the LTPA link to the right. at this page incease the timeout to say 999 minutes instead of the standard 120 minutes. After a was restart the LTPA token will last 999 minutes after a manual login and youshould have plenty of time to run your performance test with RPT.
