JAZZ DEVELOPER
Hi,

The current version of Dojo with jazz platform is 1.0.2. We are planning to leverage Dojo Grid and Tree heavily in our product which is built on Jazz. However the Grid/Tree/Datastore functionality have many known bugs in 1.0.2 and have been fixed in the latest version. The stable version of Dojo which will have all the features we are looking for are in 1.2 which is expected to be released in Sep. Is there any plan to migrate to the newer versions of Dojo?

Thanks,
Sharoon

Hi Sharoon,

We are currently working on two releases:

- A minor "fix pack" release (tentatively called "Rational Team Concert 1.0.1) for Fall of this year
- A major release for some time later in 2009

For the Team Concert 1.0.1, we will still use Dojo 1.0.2. The reason for this is that although Dojo claims backwards compatibility between current 1.x releases, we've found some incompatibilities that make us not want to move since the Team Concert 1.0.1 release is focused on improving stability.

For the next major release of Team Concert on 2009, we will adopt whatever is the newest release version of Dojo several months before we finalize are release (we like to have several months buffer to stabilize).
