How to change text font in iRAM forums?

iRAM Administrator (3152156135) | asked Mar 07 '12, 10:17 a.m.
We need to add the ability to change font formatting(Type,size,Style,Color,...) in iRAM text editing boxes (Ex: Assets forum)
To add the ability to have different fonts, also to solve the problem of mixing different fonts in same text paragraph when copy
and paste different text from applications (Ex:Microsoft Word). We do not find any facility that change the font types to differentiate headers and text fonts. Your comments is valuable to us. How to achieve this?

1) If you are talking about what the users type into the description box then that is completely up to the users. There is no "widget" for controlling the font, though there is widget for controlling the color. There are two buttons on the text editor, one for foreground and one for background color. If the users knows html they can switch to the html view of the text editor to fix up the fonts.

2) If you are talking about any other text on the forums page then those are controlled by your custom themes. But I don't know what forum page only specific style classes are being used. Probably most of them are the same style classes used on other pages. Changing them would affect every where.

A way around it is to flip to html view, and use <h1> <h2> tags, or if you are a bit more savvy, use the style attribute.
