Working with RRC in the sandbox?
Hello,
I've created a sandbox project and am unable to import requirements from a .csv file. The file is formatted properly and will import just fine in my own vmware image that has RRC installed. However, when I attempt to import the same file in the sandbox environment, it give me the general error message of: ID CRRRW7570E The comma-separated values (CSV) file was not imported.
The other thing that I've noticed in the sandbox, is that I am unable to affect the project properties for my project - so not able to create requirement types, attributes, etc. It would be nice if that permission were included in the sandbox, so that people can get a look at how to customize their project.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Can you make sure that the .csv file is encoded in UTF-8? You can open it in notepad, and to "Save As..." and select "UTF-8" under encoding. There is a technote on this which links to the InfoCenter topic on importing CSV (where this is also mentioned):

As for permissions, I noticed this last night in the sandbox too. You'll need to click on "Manage Project Area" and give yourself the "Administrator" process role instead of just an Author process role. After doing so, you'll be able to manage the project properties.

Thanks - Yes, I did see that technote about the UTF-8, and saved the .csv file with that encoding. However, it still does not import.
Can you confirm you can import the sample file attached to the technote without any problem? If you can email me your file, I can have a look to see why it might not be importing.
Actually, the sample file also does not import into my sandbox - same error message: ID CRRRW7570E The comma-separated values (CSV) file was not imported. I will send you my file anyway -- thanks for helping me with this!
I was able to import your file on my 3.0.1 and 3.0.1.1 servers too. It looks like the ability to upload files does not work on the Sandbox either, which would explain why you can't import a CSV either. I'm trying to gather some information on whether this is "by design" or not, but for now it seems not allowed in Sandbox. I'll keep you posted.
