License for SVN Bridge

Vincent TREBUCHON (36176) | asked Sep 20 '11, 7:54 a.m.
Hi,

- I would like to know if a user with a stakeholder or contributor license can use the SVN Bridge of RTC ?

- When using SVN as SCM repository, is it mandatory to use a SVN Eclipse client or can it be used with cmd line and/or TortoiseSVN client ? How is the link between the SVN revision and the RTC Work Item created/managed ?

TIA
Vincent

I believe that license would be adequate. While you could get some utility out of the feature using the command line, it would be limited. It is really geared towards interoperation with the Eclipse SVN clients. If you are more geared towards using the SVN command line, you may want to take an approach similar to what is outlined in https://jazz.net/library/article/194.
