Un-register user unable to get to Registration page

When a un-register user receive a link to an asset obtain via a search or the home page they receive a hung session. When a obtain a link that is obtained directly from the asset they receive the registration page. All links work for register users.

Has anyone had this issue.

Please advise.

What is a hung session?

It just keeps running and browser never times it out?

It just takes a long time and then browser times it out?

You get some message?

In all cases are you talking about someone else (who is registered) did
a copy link and pasted that into an email and then sent that to an
unregistered user who then just clicked on it?

If the user is unregistered, did they get a login screen first so they
can type their userid and password? Or did it not even get that far? If
it didn't get that far then we are not talking about an unregistered
person but instead we are talking an anonymous not logged in usage.

Session is hung, no message for un-register users, link was received from a register user and no login screen.

Now if that same un-register user go to the Rational Asset Manager home page and complete the registration then the link works.

Please advise.

Are you saying you were given a link to the registration page itself?

If so, then that is not a valid link. Don't use it. That is an internal
link that is only vailid when re-directed internally by RAM itself.

No, the link is to an Asset, which should take un-register users to the registration page correct. But what's happening is the session hangs.

What does hang mean? There are several interpretations of "hung".

1) Does it never come back but the browser keeps saying "Loading"? Or
does it say something else? Or do you just get a blank screen with the
browser saying "Done"?

2) From what did you click on the link? Did you click on the link in
some email program? Did paste it into to a browser's URL line and then
hit enter?
