Is there a way to pre populate the version number when we click on the version icon.Version field should be read only and it has to take value based on the previous version number. for eg if earlier version is 1.0, when we click on version icon it should populate 1.1 and it is read only.

Is there any code change or configuration available.

Appreciate your help.

This feature does not exist. Please open an enhancement and it will be considered for future versions of RAM.

You can create read only attributes. See https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18089. Maybe you could use a policy to automatically update a read only attribute when the asset is submitted.

Thanks sheehan for the reply.

Since Version attribute is a system attribute is it possible to make it readonly as this version attribute is not available in administration-->asset attribute list.
