iRAM-Generic UI Issues

Julie Reese, an iRAM User has following questions.
1) Adding a link via the "more options" does not add the link the first time - User has to repeat the steps. Is there any resolution to this issue?
2)Where exactly are the pre-reqs and browser configuration requirements for accessing iRAM Application is documented?
Please provide answers at your convenience.

It would be helpful if you gave a little more information, like what is
"more options", what page in RAM are you talking about?
Don't know answer to this one other than IE, Firefox.

<Avnindra> Ok, while uploading an asset, iRAM users fills in several input fields, click on 'More options' for advanced upload applet.
In thi applet, you see 3 options
a)Upload Files
b)Create a folder
c)Create a link
Our experience is that, the option b) and c) used to create the folder or link, it does not work in first attempt. When the page return, user get irritated, seeing that the previous attemtp to create Link or create folder did not bear results. He then try again. This second attempt does hsows the link/foder created.
Is this something to do with cache refresh?

<Avnindra>, User want to know if there is any Browser related specification for iRAM.
For example, we have seen users accessing iRAM browser, IEv9 and FF ver 4.x , reports some or other issues.

Browser questions all depend on what version of RAM is being used. Each
version has been tested and provides support only for selected specific
versions that were available at that time. That doesn't mean other
versions don't work. They either didn't exist at the time or they
weren't tested and so not supported.
iRAM is at 7202, which is old, so newer versions such IE 8 and later
didn't exist and so they weren't tested. Browsers are not level
compatible. There are often things that worked at a lower level that
fail at a higher level.
7202 was tested at FF 3.5, IE6, and IE7. Any other versions were not
tested and supported at 7202 release.
As for the create folder problem, it may be because it is a newer
browser. I just tried it with FF 3.6 and I get the same failure, but
then I made sure that I cleared my browser cache and it worked after that.
