Can I uses existing Oracle Database to create user Schema

Hi All,

I am planing to RTC 3.0.iFix1 with Oracle 10.2.0.4 (10g). My question here is

Can I use existing Oracle Setup to configure RTC database. Means I will create 2 separate user schema in the existing database and create JTS and CCM related table space in that user schema.

OR

Do I need to create separate 2 new Oracle databases on the server?, If yes can you please tell me what is the issue / problem by using existing database or why it will not work if I use existing Database with new schema?

Can any one give suggestion on this?.

Hi,

I am not sure I understand what you are trying. However, there is upgrade informtion provided with RTC, e.g. from the tabs at the download site. You should follow that documentation to upgrade.
