Multiple RAMServer in parallel
I have multiple RAM Servers in different machines (7.2.0.2)..
Now if I refer to same database (asset and lifecycle), and same folders (persist, index and local storage) in all the server, will it create any problem? Or it will work just fine? |
One answer
You need to create a WebSphere Application Server cluster in order to allow multiple servers to refer to the same database and persist folder. Multiple standalone servers that are not in a cluster can not share a database and persist folder. In a cluster, the index and local storage folders can be shared between servers (JVM instances) on the same node, but they can not be shared between nodes (different machines).
