Multiple RAMServer in parallel

Abhinav Ajmera (22113020) | asked Apr 18 '11, 6:01 a.m.
I have multiple RAM Servers in different machines (7.2.0.2)..

Now if I refer to same database (asset and lifecycle), and same folders (persist, index and local storage) in all the server, will it create any problem? Or it will work just fine?

You need to create a WebSphere Application Server cluster in order to allow multiple servers to refer to the same database and persist folder. Multiple standalone servers that are not in a cluster can not share a database and persist folder. In a cluster, the index and local storage folders can be shared between servers (JVM instances) on the same node, but they can not be shared between nodes (different machines).
