Unable to link asset to work item with IE
Setup:
RAM V7.5
IE V7 and V8
FF 3.6.10
Symptoms:
Try to setup linking assets to work items:
1. Add jazz server as OAuth friend server
2. Create resource attribute (e.g. Known defects)
3. Create/modify asset types to include new attribute (Known defects)
4. Add links to assets --> with IE (7 and 8),
there is a "Known defect" label and "Add link to resource" link/button.
but when user click to select connections, there is connection name only (e.g. RTC) no sub menu to project area selection or sub menu
to selection dialogs or creation dialogs
Also, when user saves the asset, there is no icon or no workitem name information display.
With FF, it works fine. there is "Add link to resource" with sub menu to projection area selection and sub menu to dialogs
when user saves the asset, the selected icon and workitem are displayed correctly.

Thanks ebordeau for your response.
I setup RAM Part 4: Configure Lifecycle Management Setting to use external and existing RTC server. I am able to log in this RTC server.
More info. when I am trying to add link to workitem

Try logging into the RTC server first. It looks like there's a bug where in IE the login window isn't being shown.
