If on the license server then your License server doesn't have any license file configured for it. You should use the Rational License Server License Key Adminstration application to install a license key into the server. If showing up on RAM's configuration page then you are not specifying the path correctly in some manner. Rich |

Hi,
This is a generic message. Can you go to the license server itself and verify that is up and running correctly? That it isn't producing that message itself? That message is usually on the license server side and not on the client side. On the client side it would happen if there was something invalid about the host name that was typed in. If it isn't of the form portNumber@hostname (e.g. 27000@www.ibm.com) then it will try to use it as a file name on the local system to find a license file, not as a license server. In that case you would get that error. Rich |
Hi, Thank you for your response License server is running correctly.i am using the ratlLKAdministrator-8-1-1_Windows version.RAM is 7.5 version. Client side also correct portNumber(27000)@hostname(System name). |
Hi Team,
I am facing the same issue in RAM version 7.5.2.2. Followed the technote instructions but did not help - http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21628014
Are there any suggestions.
I suspect something to do with Network settings - In our environment when did a telnet to License Server over 27000 it works fine .
