Draft review comments
Hello,
we are looking for the possibility to save and load drafts of review comments BEFORE submitting a review. Now it seems to be only possible to enter and submit a review at once. This scenario is unrealistic for huge documents, where the review process could take several hours split over several days. A work arround would be to copy and paste the comment is a separate tool outside RRC. I think this is not a good practice. Is there such a feature planned? We are currently evaluating RRC for a purchasing decision and better reviewing process would be a great plus. Best Regards, Alexander |

The review process supports the process you describe. When an artifact is put into review, commenting on the artifact and "submitting" the comments are two separate actions. A reviewer can comment on the artifact over several days (including editing previously made comments). After they have finished commenting, they mark the document as "reviewed" (done making comments, plus they indicate if they accept or reject the artifact).
What RRC does not do is "hide" (not show) the comments as they are being made until a reviewer marks the document as reviewed. Other people can see the "draft comments" (and also the fact that the commenter hasn't finished yet). Are you looking for the ability to hide the comments made in a review until the reviewer has marked them as "done"? |
