I would like to use a Depends On-type attribute as a sorting attribute in the developer's taskboard. It isn't there nor can I figure out how to add it. It seems odd to me that I can't use it - ie to indicate potential blockers as a sorting option via the existence of Depends On links - since you have the option to use links, such as Depends On, when building a work item query.

As you said, depends-on is a number of links and not an attribute. You can see links, but you can not sort on them as far as I know. Sorting requires a metric (such as smaller, equal, greater) and I can't even see what a metric for depends on would be.

Dashboards and work items are no longer publicly available, so some links may be invalid. We now provide similar information through other means. Learn more here.
