Hi

I am helping a customer install RTC 2.0.0.2 ifix3 on an existing 2.0.0.2 installation on Linux (SLES 10.2). They are using Tomcat and Oracle. They use LDAP for authentication.

I am trying to find the documentation on what files must be saved before unzipping the ifix. They use LDAP for authentication.

I assume I need to keep the teamserver.properties file, the files in tomcat\conf, the workitemindex directory.

What have I missed (including the documentation file that is probably out there somewhere :-) ?

many thanks

anthony

I think I have found the answer(s).

First - unzip the ifix3 version of RTC server, and other components to a new directory.

Then follow the instructions embedded here:

https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/2.0.0.2?p=upgrading

This lists the steps to copy over the settings from the original installation.

Make sure you check the ifix3 instructions - you may need to do the addTables step.
