How to add a child workItem through REST API

when i add a child workItem through Resource Oriented Work Item API V1.0,
I encounter a problem .I do not know how to set stateId ,it is generated by some rules.who can tell my how to set stateId or add child workItem through
Resource Oriented Work Item API V2.0 .

Not sure about your problem with "stateId"(?),
but information about creating WorkItems and WorkItem Links
